Terms of sale

1. Who sells

Sales on www.tegete.it are made by Tegete S.r.l., Loc. Pantano, 01016 Tarquinia (VT), Italy, VAT no. IT16951791009, email info@tegete.it.

2. Products and prices

We sell Tegete extra virgin olive oil in the formats shown on the site (3-litre tin and 500 ml bottle). Prices are in euro and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately in the cart, before you pay.

3. How the order is concluded

You add the products to the cart, fill in the delivery details, accept these terms and pay. The order is concluded when the payment succeeds; right after, you receive a confirmation email with the summary. If a product is not available we will tell you and, if you cannot or do not want to wait, refund what you paid by the same method.

4. Payment

You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Revolut Pay (a Revolut service), or with PayPal. Payment takes place on the secure pages of the provider you choose: Tegete neither sees nor stores your card or account details.

5. Shipping

• For now we ship within Italy only.
• Shipping is free for orders of products of 100 euro or more (VAT included). Below this threshold the cost is the one shown in the cart.
• We ship after the payment is confirmed and tell you the delivery time in the confirmation email.
• On delivery, check that the package is intact; if it is damaged, write to info@tegete.it right away with a few photos.

6. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you buy as a consumer you may withdraw, without giving a reason, within 14 days of the day you receive the products. To do so write to info@tegete.it quoting the order number. You must then send the products back within 14 days of notifying your withdrawal; the direct cost of returning them is yours. The products must be intact, in their original packaging and unopened: opened food cannot be returned for hygiene and health protection reasons (art. 59 of the Italian Consumer Code). We refund the amount paid, including standard shipping, within 14 days of receiving your notice, by the same payment method; we may wait to get the products back before refunding.

7. Legal guarantee of conformity

The legal guarantee of conformity of the Italian Consumer Code (arts. 128 ff.) applies to consumers. If a product does not conform, write to info@tegete.it and we will work out the remedy the law provides.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Consumers keep the right to use the courts of their place of residence or domicile.
